In Philadelphia, PM had the pleasure to co-sponsor the "Be Kind to Your Mind" Wellness Day on October 5th! Hosted at the Inglis Innovation Center, this event brought together over 90 community members for a day of relaxation, learning, and self-care. With activities like chair yoga, a gratitude workshop, sip-and-paint, and horticultural sessions with handmade soaps, participants had ample opportunities to connect with wellness in meaningful ways. A cooking demo, music by a DJ, and food trucks completed the experience, creating a truly festive atmosphere.

Events like these play a crucial role in mental health awareness, especially as nearly 50% of Americans believe mental health care access is a top priority in improving community well-being. This statistic highlights the importance of community events that bring wellness resources directly to the public. Learn more from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing here.
