What types of mental health services does Preventive Measures offer in Pennsylvania? We offer therapy for individuals, families, and couples, as well as psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children, teens, and adults.

What types of diagnoses do you treat? We provide services for a range of diagnoses including depression, anxiety, PTSD, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder. We do not treat Autism or provide substance use counseling.

Do I have to receive medications? No. While all clients must complete one psychiatric evaluation annually for insurance purposes, continuing medication is entirely optional and based on individual need.

Do you offer services for families and couples? Yes! We provide family and couples therapy to support healthy communication, emotional connection, and shared understanding of mental health needs.

How do I schedule an appointment? You can schedule by calling one of our local offices. We aim to schedule most new clients within 5 business days of receiving a referral.

What should I expect during my first visit? Your first visit includes a clinical assessment to understand your needs and build a personalized care plan that supports your goals.

Can I receive services via telehealth? Yes! We offer both in-person and virtual sessions for your convenience.

Do you accept insurance? Yes, we accept Medicaid insurance through CCBH, CBH, and Magellan. We are actively working on credentialing with additional insurance providers.

What if I don’t have insurance? We offer self-pay options and can assist with navigating available resources or eligibility for Medicaid.
